Crock Pot Bolognaise Recipe

| Ingredients

| 3 carrots |
peeled and grated |
| 2 cobs corn |
kernels cut off |
| 2 tsp |
crushed ginger we used ginger out of a bottle |
| 2 tsp |
crushed garlic we used garlic out of a bottle |
| 2¼lb (1 kg) |
ground beef (mince meat) |
| 1¼ pint (800ml) |
Tomato Soup. Large tin or 2 small tins. |
| ¾ cup (170g) |
Tomato Paste |
| 1 tbls |
Spaghetti Bolognaise Mixed Herbs (Italian Mixed Herbs or a mixture of basil and oregano) |
| ½ cup |
Brown Sugar |

Salt and Pepper |
| Optional |
try also bacon, mushrooms or peas. |
| Method |

Place carrot, corn, garlic, ginger, meat, tomato soup, tomato paste in pot and stir to combine. |

Cover and cook for 8-9hours on Low OR 4-5hours on High. |

During last hour of cooking add herbs, brown sugar, salt and pepper – vary to taste. |

Cook up spaghetti or favourite pasta |

Serves 6-8 Add or substitute vegetables as needed The brown sugar helps brings out the tomato flavour – don’t be afraid to use it – may need more or less depending on taste.
Tastes great, slightly finer texture than when cooked in the pan.
