Crock Pot Bananas Recipe

 

Sticky Bananas

This Crock Pot Bananas Recipe will have everyone asking for more.

Simple and quick to prepare, ideal for when unexpected guests arrive.

It is sweet and yet lemony.

By adapting this recipe from a baking recipe into a Crock Pot recipe, we have cut down the fat by 75%. So here we have a low fat crock pot recipe.

 
 
 

Crock Pot Dessert Recipe - Sticky Bananas

Ingredients
4 bananas
1 tbls butter
3 tbls soft brown sugar
juice from ½
lemon
½ tsp crushed cardamom seeds
Method
1. Put butter in crock pot and turn on.
2. Peel bananas and cut diagonally in ½ inch (1cm) slices.
3. Place bananas in the Crock Pot. (does not matter if butter not yet melted)
4. sprinkle lemon juice, brown sugar and cardamom over bananas.
5. Stir to ensure bananas well coated in juice.
6. Cook on low for 2 hours or on high for 1 hour.
Notes
    Serves 4

    Serve with Cream and/or Ice-Cream
