Crock Pot Beans & Ham Recipe

Neil and I both love beans because they are so healthy and they taste great. Combining beans and ham is a sure way to end up with a delicious meal.

Crock Pot Beans & Ham Recipe
2 lbs of great northerns beans
1 package of smoked ham hocks
1 small to medium onion
Wash and soak beans over night.
In the morning put your ham hocks in slow cooker.
Drain your beans and add into the slow cooker with 1 chopped onion.
Fill with water to top of beans.
Turn on slow cooker to time setting to 10 hours or if yours doesn't have a time setting put on medium and let slow cook all day.
If you want more ham taste with your beans then you can add some cubed ham.
When done cooking season to your liking with salt or pepper.
Always season last because ham will add a salty taste.
