A few weeks ago I got the following email regarding crock pot bread.
My 1970's Crock-Pot has an insert for baking. What can I make in it besides New England Brown Bread? I have baked potatoes in it, but I like mine crispy. Do you have some bread type recipes? I haven't been able to locate any.
Having never made bread in my crock pot - I got curious!
And I sent Bryant a few bread recipes that I found on the net and asked if we could get a copy of this Crock Pot Boston Bread Recipe for us all to share.
Would love to add any bread recipes you find here at www.a-crock-cook.com (they sound so good I might have to try some myself) including your New Engaland Brown Bread - just send in the recipes and we will publish.
Thank you, Bryant for the recipe. I'm sure we will all enjoy it and maybe it will open up a whole new area of crock pot cooking to us all.
