Crock Pot Chicken Casserole Recipe
Carole's Company Chicken Casserole
1 pkg. ( 8oz.) egg noodles
1 1/2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
3 c. diced cooked chicken
1 c. grated sharp processed cheese
1/2 c. diced celery
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1/2 c. diced onion
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 jar ( 4 oz. ) pimento, diced
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Cook noodles according to package directions in boiling water until barely tender; drain and rinse throughly.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; gently stir in noodles. Pour mixture into greased crockpot.
Cover and cook on low settting for 6-10 ( on high setting for 304 hours ).
* Can substitute diced turkey or ham for the chicken.
This certaily sounds like a hearty crock pot chicken meal.
