Crock Pot Chicken Drum Sticks and Rice Noodle Soup
Say 10 good sized drum sticks.
Make cooking sauce from the following directly into the crockpot bowl:
1 tablespn olive oil
1 tablespn sesame oil
2 tablespn soya sauce
3 tablespn rice wine vinegar
3 tablespn chicken powder stock
1 teaspn curry powder
1 teaspn chille oil
1 teaspn salt
1/2 cup of water
Mix the above ingredients together, and one by one add the drum sticks, rolling them in the mixture.
Cook on low for 4 hours to make sure that the chicken is slightly separating from the bone.
Eat the drumsticks hot and / or cold
Reserve the liquid stock, blend with a stick blender and refrigerate
Cook rice noodles, strain off say 1/2 of the water, then add a blob of the saved refrigerated stock and boil for a few minutes, very tasty and nutritious!
Thanks Ian
Two recipes in one - I like the idea!
Have drumsticks one night and then noodle soup the next night.
