Crock Pot Corned Beef Recipe

Delicious and Free Crock Pot Corned Beef Recipe.

Crock Pot Recipes should be easy, and cooking a piece of salted (corned) beef is no exception.

This easy crock pot corned beef recipe uses basic ingredients, that you probably already have in the cupboard or pantry.

This is a fantastic corned beef recipe and one of my favourites. Put on a few roast vegies and whip up some white sauce just prior to serving and Yum – an excellent meal that took no effort at all.

Easy Corned Beef Recipe

Meat Choose a piece that is going to fit in the pot. Nothing worse than trying to trim the leg up when you are already running 10 minutes late.

Corned Beef, Salted Beef, Silverside – preserved meat that needs to be boiled.

Optional Extras We always add these things, however I know of people who don’t and they seem happy with the results. But these few extras do add to the taste and definitely add to the aroma.

Vinegar (any type) - about a cup
Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Onion - peal and chop in at least half
Peppercorns - 5 or 6
Bay Leaves - 2 to 4 leaves - fresh or dried.

DIRECTIONS Put extras and the meat in the pot. Then fill to just about covering the meat with tap water. That’s it. Nothing else.

Cook for about 4–6 hours on high OR 8–10 hours on low.
