Crock Pot Corned Meat Recipe

This Crock Pot Corned Meat Recipe is delicious. With a hint of lemon and a touch of syrup it produces a lovely flavor to the meat.

Neil adapted this from my sister Kate's recipe and a suggestion from the Butcher.

And, as you will find it is extremely easy to prepare.

 
 

Sweet Lemon Corned Meat

Ingredients
1 piece corned meat (make sure it will fit in your crock pot)
˝cup white vinegar
2 tbls golden syrup
1 lemon (cut in half)
Method
1. Put meat in the crock pot.
2. Pour in the vinegar. Add the lemon halves, no need to squeeze.
3. Pour the syrup over top of the meat.
4. Fill crock pot with water, so that just covering the meat.
5. Cook for about 4–6 hours on high and 8–10 hours on low.
Notes
    Serve with steamed vegetables and white sauce
