A Crock Pot Recipe should be Easy, otherwise it defeats the whole purpose of slow cooking.

All of these recipes are ones that Neil and I use regularly. These are mid week recipes for when you are in a hurry. So there is nothing fancy nor complicated about any of our slow cooker recipes.

And these here are our crock pot simple recipes. They all use basic ingredients, that you probably already have in the cupboard or pantry.

You can’t really do anything wrong. And if it cooks for a little longer (several hours, even), it won’t burn. It will just go softer and softer, it may turn a little grey and look mussy but it will still be edible.

We (actually I, but don’t like taking the blame) have only had two bad (funny) crock pot experiences and neither had anything to do with the recipe – just with the operator.
