Neil and I love this recipe for its uniqueness! We can't wait to try it!

Crock Pot Golabki (Cabbage Rolls) Recipe
6-8 cabbage leaves (outer leaves only)
Small can saurkraut - do not drain
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
1/2 cup rice cooked in 1 cup milk (just until milk is absorbed)
season with salt, pepper and garlic powder
1 can condensed tomato soup
Spray bottom and sides of crock with cooking spray.
Put a layer of saurerkraut on bottom of crock.
Dip cabbage leaves in boiling water for approx. 5 min.
Rinse in cool water.
Set aside.
Combine meats with partially cooked rice and seasonings.
Fill cabbage leaves with meat and roll closed.
Place on top of saurkraut.
Cover with condensed tomato soup.
Cover and cook on low setting 8 hrs.
May omit saurkraut and substitute a jar of spaghetti sauce for condensed tomato soup for more of an Italian variation.
This is the most tender and delicious Golabki ever!
