Crock Pot Harvet Time Pork Chops
by Molly Garza
Harvest Time Pork Chops
2 cans (11 3/4oz ea - 330g) Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup of water
1 Tablespoon brown sugar (or Splenda equivalent)
1 Tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
4 large Granny Smith apples (I used Honeycrisp apples also)
a handful of Golden Raisins
1 lemon sliced thick
8 boneless pork chops, about 3/4" each
Mix first five ingredients and put in slow cooker.
Add apples, raisins and pork chops and lay a lemon slice on each chop.
Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
Serve with a nice tossed salad, crusty French bread.
You can also add snow peas, carrots and mushrooms if you like.
Just in time for Thanksgiving - this recipe sounds delicious!
Don't worry if you can't get the exact 11 3/4oz cans - close enough will be good enough :-) which is the beauty of crock pots!
