Crock Pot Meat Loaf Stew

This is a great recipe for busy families because the meatloaf can be prepared in advance; frozen; and used when ever needed. You could make up several in advance.
I just need to point out that Faye cooks the meatloaf frozen - HOWEVER health experts suggest that meat should not be placed in the crock pot frozen because if does not get hot enough quickly enough. So you be the judge - you could always defrost it first if you prefer.

Crock Pot Meat Loaf Stew With Mushroom Sauce Recipe
1 pound extra-Lean Ground Beef
1 Egg
1 package of Onion Soup Mix
1/2 cup fine Bread Crumbs
DIRECTIONS:
Mix thoroughly shape into an oval Meat Loaf.
Wrap & Freeze!!
This is the best part, you can make a Meat Loaf in any size that fits you
family and have it on hand at any time.
When ready to cook:-
Unwrap frozen Meat Loaf.
Mix a 10 oz can of Cream of Mushroom Soup with as much Onion Soup Mix as you
desire for taste.
Put 1/2 of the mixture in the bottom of your Crock Pot and place frozen Meat
Loaf on top.
You can add drained canned potatoes, baby carrots and chopped onion at this time as desired.
Pour the remaing soup mixture over the ingredients, cover and cook on low for at least 7 hours. Check with Meat Thermometer for doneness.
