Crock Pot Pasta DessertThis unusual crock pot recipe combines cooked pasta with a baked custard to produce and unusual dessert. I hesitated in putting this recipe on this site because whilst it does taste good and I did enjoy it - It is a bit weird and the soft pasta provides an unusual texture to this dessert. How this recipe came to be was, that I was experiementing with cooking pasta in the crock pot. I get asked heaps about it and thought I should come up with a recipe. So I put some pasta in the crock pot on high and was going to check it in an hour. Of course I got on the computer and forgot about it. 3 hours later I walked back into the kitchen to a smell of cooked pasta. Luckily, it was still ok but very, very soft. So, instead of feeding it to the dog, I thought I might be able to do something with it and so..... |
