Neil and I saw this recipe and thought that it might be complicated, but Donna gives excellent directions which makes it so easy. Her recipe sounds delicious and well worth the effort!

Crock Pot Pulled Pork Sandwiches Recipe
3 pound pork butt
Dry Rub
2 tablespoons grill seasoning
2 Tablespoons Brown sugar
1 T Cumin
1/2 T Onion Power and Garlic Powder
1 t Chipolte Chili Powder
1/2 t Ground Cloves
Wet Mariniade
1 Cup Apple Juice
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 star anise
1/4 cup sherry vingar (or any sweet vinegar)
Hot Dog or favorite buns
Cole Slaw (I like to get the precut cole slaw and add dressing to make fresh)
1/2 cup favorite BBQ sauce
Shredded cheese (Monterey/Cheddar)
Wash the pork and dry.
Rub the dry rub all over the meat, in all of the cracks and crevices, massage and roll it all the seasonings in.
Then, place the wet marinade in a plastic ziploc bag.
Add the meat.
Press out the air.
Place in a bowl and mariade for as long as two days.
Put the pork into the crockpot with the excess liquid.
Cook on low all day.
When the pork is cooked and pulls apart easily, turn off the crockpot and let sit about 10-15 minutes.
Tear apart the pork using two forks and mix in the BBQ sauce.
Take the pork place in the bun, add a scoop of the cole slaw and garnish with the cheese.
I did this with a half turkey breast, and it was too dry, it would probably work with a brisket.....
