Crock Pot Vegetarian Chick Pea Chili Recipe

2 cups of fresh chickpeas
1 garlic chopped (or 2 tsp garlic powder)
1/2 inch ginger chopped (or 1 tsp ginger powder)
2 tomatoes chopped (can use 1 can of diced)
1 full onion chopped
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp garam masala powder or 1 tsp pepper (optional)
1 tsp turmeric
2 tsp butter
Salt to taste

Combine all ingredients into the crockpot, cover with water about 2 inches above.

Cook on high for 6 - 8 hours.

If you find mixture too thin, you can always thicken, by smashing a few chickpeas

I used fresh ingredients, but you can also substitute with canned or powdered (as mentioned) If you use canned chick peas, cook for 3 - 4 hours on low.

This is such a delicious healthy crock pot recipe, loaded with proteins.

Serve with rice, naan bread, bread or cus cus.

Tip: Adding turmeric to all your recipes, can boost your immunity.

This post is actually about Vegetarian Chick Pea Chili Recipe which is not a new for me. Because i have taste this dish when i went to a Asian hotel, that is very spicy and tasty dish and now i got this post which have almost similar and detail recipe. I must say to my wife to make this dish at home to follow the instruction which have mentioned in this post. However, I need best essay but i think this site have a lot of recipes collection of different dishes.
