Laurie's Grandma must be a great cook because in her own words this Crock Pot Chicken and Dressing recipe is "num yummy!"

Ingredients:
3 boneless chicken breasts (frozen is ok)
2 ribs of celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 cans of chicken broth
2 pckgs of honey sweet cornbread baked into 12 muffins (day-old is even better)
salt, pepper to taste
1-2 tbsp dried sage

Method:
Add the first four ingredients on low for 6 hours.

Gently break apart the chicken into chunks.

Add the corn bread muffins, crumbled.

Add seasonings and cook on low for another 30 min- 1 hour, until the desired consistency.

num yummy!

Thanks Laurie

What an interesting recipe with the crumbled cornbread muffins added in the last hour of cooking.

I'm sure this recipe will spark imaginations and everyone will be inventing their own variation.

Happy Cooking
