Neil and I love all of the colorful ingredients in this recipe! We are sure that it will taste as colorful and delicious as well.
Simple Crock Pot Turkey Chili Recipe
1 to 1/2 lbs. ground turkey
1 medium yellow onion chopped
1 green pepper cleaned and chopped
1/2 small bag frozen carrots
1/2 small bag frozen corn
1 8oz. can black beans (drained)
1 8oz. can pink beans (drained)
1 8oz. can red beans (drained)
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1 package low sodium taco seasoning
paprika (season to your liking)
chili powder (season to your liking)
pepper (season to your liking)
1 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
reduced fat sour cream
Brown turkey and onion in a pan for 10-15 mins.
Transfer meat and onion to crock pot and add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and frozen vegetables.
Add all remaining ingredients with exception of garnish.
Cook on low 5 hours or high for 3-3 1/2.
When ready, garnish with cheese, cilantro and sour cream.
You can also add corn bread to the chili (when serving) as an added bonus!
