Neil and I love chicken alfredo and chicken pot pie, so this recipe is sure to be a new favorite! We can't wait to try it!
Slow Cooker Chicken and Vegetable Alfredo Pot Recipe
1/3 cup diced caarrots
1/2 cup diced celery
1 cup chopped onion
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breast, diced
2 cups purchased alfredo sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
Layer first five ingredients in 4-5 qt. crock pot in order given.
Pour broth over top; do not stir, than add diced chicken.
Stir together remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and spoon over chicken.
Do not stir and cover, cook 3-4 hours on HIGH or 6-8 hours on LOW.
This recipe offers the creamy taste of chicken alfredo plus the comforting flavors of chicken pot pie all from one easy to make crock pot dish.
