Slow Cooker Crock Chops Stew Recipe
4-5 thick center cut pork chops
one 10-11 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
one package frozen tender peas (optional)
one lb. of fresh carrots (peeled)
4-5 medium red potatoes (peeled)
Recommend to sear chops on both sides before placing into crock pot.
Place chops at bottom of crock pot
Place vegetables and potatoes in layers on top.
Combine one cup of water to mushroom soup mix well.
Pour over ingredients.
Water should be added to cover all ingredients.
Set crock pot on low for 8 hrs. or more.
When I prepare this recipe, I usually do not add peas.
However, to truly make it a "stew" variety, I added the peas to this recipe.
