We have not testd this recipe ourselves but this is what Jill De had to say:-
"I use a West Bend Brand Crockpot to do my jams - it's a six quart on a base.... Pear Honey makes a great gift..in jelly jars or pints"
I suggest you start with a low setting and see how it works out in your own crock pot - we would love to hear from anyone who has tried this.

Crock Pot Pear Honey
One 6 lb can of pears, drained and run in batches in the blender to make smooth or if you like it lumpier, just cut them up..doesn't matter.
Two cans of crushed pineapple, partially drained
Two tbsps raw honey
That's it! Put all in the crockpot, cover, turn on 2 1/2, and walk away for about 6 hrs. Take cover off, stir once or twice, put cover at an angle over top so it can cook down more...about 2 more hours...check consistency.....put into your jars, wipe the rims clean, put top on and you're done!!! As it cools, you'll hear the tops 'pop'.
Enjoy
