Slow Cooker Pork Chop Stew
First off, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your website. Already I've used two of your wonderful recipes and I only just found you a bit ago! I love that these are recipes that you have tried.
I've tried lots of recipes from lots of cookbooks that at the end you ask yourself 'Did they actually make the recipe to test it out?' So, thank you for this website.
Secondly, I have a really yummy slowcooker recipe to share with you and your readers. And yes, I've tried it, and it's FAB!
My family and friends who've tried it always ask for the recipe.

Pork Chop Stew in the Slow Cooker (6-Quart)
4 bone-in Pork Chops
1 Tbsp oil
Salt
Pepper
4 potatoes pealed and chopped into 1” pieces
1 onion sliced
8 mushrooms sliced
4 celery stalks chopped into 1” pieces
4 carrots pealed and chopped into 1” pieces
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 garlic clove minced
˝ tsp pepper
1 Tbsp parsley
Sprinkle pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Then, in a medium fry
pan, brown the pork chops. (You’re not cooking, just browning quickly, for
colour and flavour.)
Place chopped veggies in slow cooker.
In a bowl mix together soup, garlic, pepper, and parsley. Pour over veggies,
mix well and then place pork chops over top of veggies in a single layer.
Set slow cooker on low for 7 to 8 hours, or high for 4 to 5.
Yummy!
