Secret Weapon Pot Roast Beef (5-Minutes, 3-Ingredients)
This dream recipe will be the easiest, tastiest, cheapest, quickest Roast Beef recipe you will ever make in your Crock Pot!!
It was passed around between the ladies in my southern family over the years as a "secret weapon" because it screams "slaved over a stove all day", yet in reality takes under 5-minutes to prepare and uses only 3 ingredients. Yes, you read that right!
NOTES: For us cooks, a recipe this plain just looks too simple to be good and we have the tendency to start adding and changing the ingredients. In this particular recipe, however, it can ruin the taste.
My suggestion is to make it exactly by the recipe the first time around. It will give you a base to go by in the future and then you can get creative by adding veggies or braising and browning your roast prior to putting in the Crock Pot.
--------------------------------------------
Ingredients:
3 Lbs of Roast (Round, Cross Rib, etc)
1 Can Campbell?s Condensed Beef Broth (10.5 oz)
1 Can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (10.75 oz)
Directions:
Place roast in Crock Pot. Pour both cans of soup over the roast. Cook on LOW for about 8 hours or until really tender.
--------------------------------------------
For best results: Do not use fat free soups and make sure you don't use the Campbell's Beef Consume by accident!

Thanks Tanya

Thanks for all the notes and tips - I think you've convinced all of us to give this one a try.
