Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Thanks Laura for this delicious 4 ingredient slow cooker roast beef recipe.

Recipe for Roast Beef in the crock pot
Any size beef roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pacakge onion soup mix
diced onions


Brown roast before putting it in the crock pot.

In a separate bowl combine the onion soup mix and the can of cream of mushroom soup. Mix throughly and set aside.

When meat is browned put it in the crock pot (If it is too big then cut the roast in half and layer the soup mix.) Spoon the soup and onion soup mixture over the roast sreading evenly. Then add the chopped onions on top. (Do not add water.)

Cook until roast is tender. Carrots and/or potatoes can be added later within the last hour or two.

The soup and onion soup mixture will form a gravy. You may need to add some water and flour water mixture to finish the gravy.
