|
|
|
Neil and I are always looking for new heur dourves to serve at our parties. This one sounds deliciously spicy and just moved to the top of our list of new recipes to try.

Crock Pot Spicy Hot Corned Beef Dip Recipe
2 cups diced left over corned beef
1/2 cup chopped green onion (include some of the green tops)
1/2 cup diced Neufchâtel cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons brown mustard
3 drops of red pepper sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
In food processor process all ingredients for two minutes.
Scrape the bowl and process one more minute.
Place in glass container large enough to hold all of the dip that will fit into your crock pot with the lid closed and is also heat resistant.
Use two or three large pieces of aluminum foil enough you can crumple it to make a nest for your container.
Place covered container into your crock pot.
Put cover on your crock pot.
Cook three to four hours on high.
Remove from crock pot scoop the dip into a bowl.
Stir and serve with Crackers or toast points.
Makes two and a half cups of dip.
Notes
I like this when I am expecting guests.
It gives me a chance to get other things done while the dip is heating so I can sit and visit while we wait for the rest of the meal to finish.
