Neil and I love the addition of pineapples to this recipe. We think that it will give us that sweet flavor that we love in our ribs!
Crock Pot Easy Tender Spare Ribs Recipe
Pork Spare Ribs, any amount that will fit into your crock pot
Your favorite bottled or home made barbecue sauce
Pineapple slices (optional)
Trim and cut spare ribs to single portion size.
Place in Crock Pot.
Cook on high for about an hour or two.
Drain off fat.
Pour in enough barbecue sauce to fully cover meat.
Add pinapple slices.
Cook on low for 7 - 9 hours.
Ribs will be tender and flavorful when finished!
You can set the crock pot for low and pour the sauce in immediately instead of cooking on high and draining fat first, if you will be leaving the house and won't be able to get back to drain the fat, etc.
