Neil and I really love pulled pork and are always excited to try new recipes. This one sounds delicious!
Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe
1-3-5 lb. pork but (with bone)
2 yellow onions
1 1/2 bottles of KC masterpiece BBQ sauce
Slice the onions into strips, and season pork butt with salt, pepper and garlic.
Place onions on bottom of slow cooker, then place the pork butt in with two cups of water.
Let it cook for 8-10 hours.
Then remove pork butt from slow cooker and place on cutting board.
Carefully (pork butt will be hot) using a fork, shred the pork and then put it back into slow cooker.
Once all pork is shredded, add 1 1/2 bottles of KC masterpiece BBQ sauce, and cook another 90 minutes or so on low, stirring occasionally, then serve on buns or onion rolls.
You can season pork butt any way you wish.
Don't over cook the BBQ sauce. It will burn due to its sugar content.
